LESSON 5: Sharing information and digital contents

This lesson is: Sharing Information and digital contents

In this topic we learnt the selection of existing contents in the Web, generated by others; to share, the open educational resources, intellectual property and author rights, how to create an infographic and a mental map.

To put this last in practice, in the first activity, we create an infographic about the planets and the space using Piktochart.

LESSON 4: Digital technologies interaction


Welcome again! 馃槂

This lesson is about: Digital technologies interaction.

We started learning some basic concepts as social web, digital identity, virtual learning communities, the use of social learning networks, cybersecurity and cyber-bulling.

In this topic our task was to create an account in a social network and to talk about a topic. We chose the cinema so we created a Twitter account based on movies. We had many interactions and followers.

LESSON 3: Digital content, information, evaluation and licensing


Hello everyone! 馃槃

This lesson is: Digital content, information, evaluation and licensing

First, we learnt some conceps: digital content, software, the free software and the private software, the intellectual property, the copyright, the license of the contents and the software licenses.

To put it into practice, we create a webpage using Google sites.

 In order to create it, we made a license in which we chose not to allow modifying our work and as we added images created by us, we created another license in each of the images to verify that they were subject to copyright.

 When we finished we made a last license in which we add the data of all the creators of the web page.

From this lesson I have learnt to create a webpage using Google sites and I realised that it is very useful and that you not must to forget to put your stamp so that no one can aproppiate your merits!

LESSON 2: Cloud data storage and retrieval

Hi! Welcome back! 馃構

This post is about: Cloud data storage and retrieval.

In this topic we learned basic concepts about the cloud, its service delivered, storage and the many companies that offer hosting information as box, dropbox and drive and how to use them.

To put these concepts into practice we did an activity in which we created a text document in Google Drive. We divided it into two groups and each group were responsible for completing a part of a story in just 5 minutes.

LESSON 1: Navigation and Search


Hello everyone! 馃槃

For this first post I am going to introduce the first topic: Navigation and Search.←

To begin with, we started learning some basic concepts as Internet, Web, web browser and search engine. We also learnt that libraries offer websites, bookmarks for personalized use of Internet and some tricks to perform a correct search in Google to get what we wanted.

 In the first exercise we looked for an example of something to search in Google and we applied all the tricks we had learned: synonyms, definitions, intitle, inurl and site.

We divided it into groups, some wrote the exercise and others evaluated it. For this last, they needed to make a rubric.
